ONGOING MINISTRIES

JR/SR HIGH F.U.E.L.  Sundays, 9:45-10:45am  Topical Bible class with large and small group teaching.  Meets in The Pit Stop on Jan 10, 17, 24 & 31.

SR. HIGH REFUEL  Mondays, 6:30-8:30pm.  Passionate worship, discussion and prayer.  Meets in The Pit Stop on Jan 4, 11 & 18.

JR. HIGH FULL THROTTLE  Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00pm.  Friends, contests, gym time, snacks and devos are rolled into this weekly event.  Meets in The Pit Stop on Jan 6, 13, 20 & 27.

HIGH OCTANE WORSHIP  Sundays, 11:00am-12:15pm.  Relevant worship that meets students where they're at.  Meets in The Pit Stop on Jan 10 & 24.

PIT CREW LEADERSHIP MEETING  This is our monthly mandatory meeting for all student leaders, leaders in training, and adult counselors.  We will meet in The Pit Stop on Jan 25.

SERVICE STATION MINISTRIES

SRTM SPONSORS A CHILD!  We have been sponsoring Hyo-Chan, a baby boy born in Korea on 11/23/08.  Hyo is living with a foster family and awaiting adoption into a loving family.  Until that happens, we are sponsoring him with a gift of $30 a month.  We are asking that every student donate $1 a month to help with this sponsorship.  Giving envelopes are outside The Pit Stop at the info board.

OAK CREST WORSHIP:  Sunday 1/17; 1:30-2:45pm  Join us as we lead our senior friends in worship!  Students sing, do the Bible readings, & talk with the residents.  This year, we are doing two services simultaneously in two buildings!  For those who wish, we will hang out in The Pit Stop after St. Mark's worship until it's time to go (we'll even feed ya!).  For more info, contact Chris Rubino or Tom Chester.

BETHESDA FRIENDS:  Thursday 1/21; 6:00-7:30pm.  Join us as we play bingo with our friends at Bethesda group home!  Contact student leader Heather Mahon if you can go!  Meet @ The Pit Stop.

MAPLE CREEK BINGO:  Thursday 1/21; 6:30-8:30pm.  Join us as we play bingo with our senior friends at Maple Creek!  Contact student leader Aaron Oostindie if you can go!  Meet @ The Pit Stop.

CONFIRMATION MINISTRY

"COMMUNION" SEMINAR Saturday 1/16; 9:00-11:30am.  This is for all students needing to take this class.  RSVP with Pastor Meyer; meets in the Conference room.

EARLY COMMUNION CLASSES:  Students (5th grade & up) wishing to participate in early communion need to attend TWO sessions:  Saturday 1/16; 9:00am-11:30am (in the Conference Room).  And Wednesday, 1/27; 6:30-8:00pm (in the Conference Room)...a parent MUST attend the Wednesday class with their student.  First Communion will be on Sunday, January 31st.

S.H.A.P.E. RETREAT:  Fri/Sat 1/22-23; 7:00pm-3:30pm.  This retreat is for all students being confirmed in May of '10.
